There No End to the Fun of Dramas & Entertainment Shows – The Lineup of New Works

tvN will introduce new works of various genres, including dramas, entertainment shows, and educational shows, in June.

First of all, on June 20, It’s Okay to Not Be Okay, starring Kim Soo Hyun and Seo Ye Ji, will premiere. It’s a slightly odd romantic comedy drama about a community health worker at a psychiatric ward who doesn’t have time for love and a storybook writer who has never understood love. Even the recently released teaser video presented the strong images that seemed to have compressed each character’s emotional narrative, raising a ton of expectations.

Then there’s House on Wheels, which premieres on June 11. House on Wheels depicts the process of Song Dong Il, Kim Hee Won, and Yeo Jin Gu living in a house on wheels as they travel all parts of Korea. The three plan to invite people who are precious to their small, moving house as guests to live together for a day and provide warm laughter and healing. In the first episode, Ra Mi Ran and Hyeri, who worked with Song Dong Il in Reply 1988, will appear as guests. In the second episode, Gong Hyo Jin, who also worked in It’s Okay, That’s Love with Song Dong Il, will be the guest.

Awesome Cleaning, which will air for the first time on June 29, is an entertainment show that shows the process of adding pleasure in spaces after emptying the items in one’s home. Talking about life stories related to items that need to be sorted out, not only will they (hosts and clients) present the beauty in emptiness, but also allow people to look back on life. “Maximal List” Park Na Rae and “Minimal List” Shin Ae Ra will host the show, and Yoon Kyun Sang will appear as their first client.

tvN has also prepared a new educational show that will present a unique insight. In Future Class (literal translation), which will premiere on June 18, we will listen to the wisdom of the scholars about the post-coronavirus world and explore the new ways of life. The scholars from various fields will give lectures about our lives as we face the “post-coronavirus” era. The theme of the first episode is “Vaccination and Biotechnology.” Park Jong Hwa, a professor at the Ulsan Institute of Science and Technology, and Lee Hyun Sook, a professor at Seoul National University’s Department of Life Sciences, will appear as lecturers.
