BOL4‘s Ahn Ji Young said she was greatly influenced by Amy Winehouse.

In the recent episode of KBS2’s You Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook, which aired on June 5, BOL4 appeared as guest. Ahn Ji Young recently released her new mini-album, Puberty Book II ” A Flower The Butterfly Has Seen.

When asked about how she was doing, she answered, “I’m not doing anything. There are zero events. So I’m sort of unemployed now.” Then, Yoo Hee Yeol asked about her school days. To which, she replied, “I was part of a band since middle school, but my parents wanted me to study. So they sent me to a dormitory. I was a very upright student. In a way, I think I’m still going through my puberty.”

Later, Ahn Ji Young sang Amy Winehouse’s “You know I’m no good,” and said, “I loved Amy Winehouse so much, and she is the reason I started music. I sang her songs so often when I was preparing for college entrance exams, and that influenced my singing styles heavily.”
