‘KCON:TACT 2020 SUMMER’ Confirms Its Fabulous 32-Team Lineup

CJ ENM announced the final lineup for its online K-culture festival “KCON:TACT 2020 SUMMER,” which will be held on YouTube from Juen 20 to 26.

“KCON:TACT 2020 SUMMER,” which will be held for a week, plans to maximize the strength of online concerts through digital-optimized technologies such as AR and active audience participation. Various programs featuring artists and fans will be held, including “Fan Featuring” stages where artists and fans can enjoy the group singing together, “Special Stage,” which reflects the decisions made by real-time votes by fans on the artist’s actual stage, and “Fan Song” that are made with messages from fans.

Following to the previous lineup of ‘KCON:TACT 2020 SUMMER’ released on May 28 that includes AB6IX, GFRIEND, GoldenChild, IZ*ONE, LOONA, MONSTA X, NATURE, Pentagon, THE BOYZ, and TOO, more artist, including ASTRO, ATEEZ, BVNDIT, Chung Ha, CRAVITY, EVERGLOW, (G)I-DLE, ITZY, JO1, Kang Daniel, Kim Jae Hwan, MAMAMOO, NATTY, N.Flying, Oh My Girl, ONEUS, ONF, SF9, STRAY KIDS, TXT, VERIVERY, and VICTON, were added, completing a fabulous lineup of 32 teams.

You can watch ‘KCON:TACT 2020 SUMMER’ on the Mnet K-POP YouTube account and TVING. Contents are divided into paid and free materials according to their characteristics. Some of the proceeds will be donated to the UNESCO ‘Learning Never Stops’ campaign.

Meanwhile, CJ ENM has been holding KCON since 2012 to spread the Korean Wave. It attracted more than 1.1 million viewers in the U.S., France, and Australia. This year’s KCON was decided to be held online due to the spread of COVID-19. It will present content related to the Korean Wave 24/7 for a week, a total of 168 hours. Attention is focusing on whether it will be able to show the possibility of a new festival that goes beyond the limits of the offline festivals.
