Big Bang‘s Taeyang showed his unwavering friendship with G-Dragon.
On June 1, the 5th episode of Taeyang’s documentary WHITE NIGHT was released on YouTube.
Taeyang’s daily life was quite different from his charismatic appearance on stage. He drew attention with his comfortable and friendly manner and continued to communicate with people around him, especially his staff, hair designer, and acquaintances overseas.
Still, Taeyang said, “I don’t think I have any real friends. Those I meet as I work are my friends. If I’m not at work, I don’t have any friends.” But when the staff said, “You have Ji Yong (G-Dragon),” Taeyang smiled and showed his strong friendship, saying, “Yeah, that’s right. That’s what real friends are.”
The meaning of Big Bang and fans was also indispensable for Taeyang. During the tour of his third full-length solo album WHITE NIGHT, Taeyang prepared Big Bang’s “LAST DANCE.” When asked why he prepared the song for his solo concert, he said, “I thought our fans could relate to this song and the meaning it holds.”
The documentary WHITE NIGHT will release a total of eight episodes. Each episode is released every Monday and Thursday at 7:00 p.m. for four weeks from May 18 KST.
