Actor Sung Hoon is in conflict with the cosmetics company over his exclusive model contract.
On June 1, SBS reported that Sung Hoon’s agency Stallion Entertainment signed a partnership contract with a cosmetics company to launch a hair product in August 2018 and had Sung Hoon be the face of the product. However, the contract was not carried out correctly.
Stallion Entertainment filed a lawsuit against the cosmetics company in February last year for violating portrait rights and publishing rights, but lost. It was later revealed that the cosmetic company was demanding Sung Hoon to continue to be the face of the product on the grounds of the ruling.
An official from Stallion Entertainment said, “We will file criminal charges against the cosmetics company on the charges of breach of trust, embezzlement, etc. We will re-state our position after filing the complaint.”
