GOT7’s Mark joined others in supporting the Black Lives Matter movement.
On May 25th, George Floyd died in the hands of Minneapolis police officers who used unnecessary force to subdue him. After seeing the video of this atrocious act, many protests broke out across the states, and artists like Lady Gaga, Beyonce, and Billie Eilish spoke out against the injustice.
And on May 31st, Mark showed support for the movement and donated $7,000 to the Official George Floyd Memorial Fund. After making the generous donation, he tweeted a screen shot of the receipt and wrote, “Stay strong, stay safe.”
