‘Voice Korea 2020’ Starts Off Strong with 3.5 Percent Viewership

Mnet’s Voice Korea 2020 has taken a successful first step, grabbing both the attention and solid viewership from the first episode.

According to Nielsen Korea, the first episode of Mnet’s Voice Korea 2020, which aired on May 29, recorded 2.4 percent viewership. Also, the preview of a new participant singing “Please” soared to 3.5 percent viewership.

Even with one episode, Voice Korea 2020 was spotted in the Top 10 of real-time search words in major Korean portal sites, confirming its popularity and marking the start of a hot music entertainment show.

In particular, shortly after Kim Ye Ji’s stage was aired, viewers showed explosive reactions, and attention is already focused on her next performance.

Meanwhile, at the end of the show, the images of coaches being shocked by the appearance of a participant who changed his names three times since his debut after 15 years of training were shown, further raising curiosity.

Meanwhile, Voice Korea 2020 airs simultaneously on Mnet and tvN every Friday at 7:30 p.m. KST.
