WINNER‘s Kang Seung Yoon and AKMU‘s Lee Chan Hyuk wrote and composed TREASURE ‘s Bang Ye Dam‘s first solo dong “WAYO.”
YG Entertainment announced that Kang Seung Yoon of WINNER and Lee Chan Hyuk of AKMU wrote and composed Bang Ye Dam’s first solo song “WAYO.“
“WAYO” is expected to be Bang Ye Dam’s first solo song to be released before his official debut as TREASURE. Kang Seung Yoon and Lee Chan Hyuk, who have produced their own albums and displayed outstanding writing and composing skills, worked together for their junior Bang Ye Dam. Along with them, talented producer Future Bounce participated in writing, composing, and arranging, whereas Andrew Choi helped out in composing.
“Thanks to the enthusiastic support of senior singers for Bang Ye Dam, who has been dreaming of debuting as a trainee for seven years, we have created a great music that is addictive from the start,” YG Entertainment added. ”The song well combines the unique, sweet voice of Bang Ye Dam with beautiful lyrics and melodies.”
Bang Ye Dam appeared in K-pop Star: Season 2 in 2012 and finished as a runner-up at the age of 11 and later honed his skills at YG for about seven years.
“WAYO” will be released at 6:00 p.m. on June 5 KST.
