Singer-actor Ong Seong Wu spent a special time with fans to mark the first anniversary of his fanclub “WELO.”
On May 24, Ong Seung Wu hosted a fanclub online birthday party titled “WELO’s First Anniversary” through NAVER V LIVE.
First, he expressed his gratitude to his fans, saying, “Thank you for spending a special year with me, and thank you for always being my WELO.” He also prepared a surprise gift for his fans. He decorated the car with balloons that read “WELO” and prepared a cake decorated with heliotrope, the birth flower of his fanclub.
Later, Ong Seong Wu vowed, “I’m sure we will face many different days and diverse events, but I will always exist as Ong Seong Wu for a long time and try my best to show the best sides and hearts as WELO’s Ong Seong Wu.”
He ended the show saying that he will always love WELO forever and wishing everyone a happy day.
The fans’ reactions were explosive. More than 150,000 fans joined the online party, and by the end of the event, the number of hearts reached over 14 million.
Meanwhile, Ong Seong Wu is currently filming for JTBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama Number Of Times, scheduled to air in the second half of this year.
