Crush and Red Velvet‘s JOY have proven themselves as the music powerhouse. Their collaboration song “Mayday” topped three major music charts in Korea.

Crush released “Mayday (Feat. JOY of Red Velvet),” the first single of his “homemade” series, on May 20. As of 9:00 a.m. on May 21, the song topped three real-time music charts of Genie, Bugs, and Soribada.

“Mayday” is an R&B hip-hop trap-oriented song. The song talks about being bored at home and wanting to see new things and enjoy them.

Red Velvet’s JOY participated in the featuring of the song. Combines with Crush’s appealing deep tone, her sweet voice created a perfect harmony, presenting a healing for the listeners.

The unique music video also grabbed the attention. The number of views surpassed 1 million in just one day after its release.

Meanwhile, IU‘s “eight (Prod.&Feat. SUGA of BTS)” is still maintaining its top scores. It is still ranked first in Momople, Naver Music and Melon, and second in Genie, Bugs, and Soribada.
