Immediately after her debut, SECRET NUMBER’s Soodam got swept up in bullying and underage drinking rumors.
On May 19th, one netizen revealed through social media that they went to the same high school as Soodam and claimed that Soodam participated in bullying other students and started drinking in middle school. The netizen shared Soodam’s high school yearbook photo as evidence.
In response, SECRET NUMBER’s agency Vine Entertainment stated, “We want to make it clear that the hateful slander against Soodam that was shared on social media this morning is a hate rumor and false.”
The agency continued, “We ask that people no longer hurt a rookie group who is taking their first step on to the music scene with false rumors. We will consider taking legal actions against acts of spreading hate rumors and false facts from now on.”
