tvN’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama Flower of Evil unveiled its fantastic cast along with photos from the table that feature passionate performances by Lee Joon Gi, Moon Chae Won, Jang Hee Jin, and Seo Hyun Woo.
tvN’s Flower of Evil throws a shocking topic of “What if your husband, who you have loved for 14 years, is a cold-blooded serial killer?” The drama depicts the story of Baek Hee Sung (Lee Joon Gi), who hid his brutal past and changed his identity, and Cha Ji Won (Moon Chae Won), a detective in violent crime unit who traces his past.
Lee Joon Gi plays the role of Baek Hee Sung, who plays an ideal husband after hiding his atrocious past. Lee Joon Gi will go back and forth between the extremes of cold and warmth. On the other hand, Moon Chae Won will showcase double attractions as she plays Cha Ji Won, a charismatic detective and a loving wife. Above all, if the romantic chemistry between the two heated up the scene, the exceptional acting as they start to doubt each other introduced breathtaking tension.
Jang Hee Jin also enlivened the story with her perfect portrayal of her character Do Hae Soo, the daughter of a serial killer and Hee Sung’s sister, who has survived a terrible family history alone. Seo Hyun Woo showed off his flawless chemistry with Lee Joon Gi as he played the role of Kim Moo Jin, a weekly reporter who is blinded by the scoop.
As such, Flower of Evil, which is raising the expectation with its solid cast, will increase the level of immersion with prominent actors who will be playing the supporting roles. Kim Ji Hoon, Choi Byung Mo, Son Jong Hak, Nam Ki Ae, and Yoon Byung Hee have confirmed their appearances.
tvN’s Flower of Evil is set to air in July.
