Rose, a member of BLACKPINK, held a surprise “untatct” mini-concert and presented her sweet songs.
Early morning on May 17, Rose performed online for about 30 minutes through Instagram Live. The performance was planned by Rose as a surprise for her fans and was performed only with guitar and piano accompaniment in the studio.
Rose played the keyboard herself and performed various songs that crossed K-POP and Pop songs. After starting the event with Paramore’s “The Only Exception,” she continued with The Killers’s “Read My Mind,” Lee Moon Sae’s “Girl,” Coldplay’s “Fix You.” Rose communicated with fans in Korean and English between the songs and even sang a line of recommended songs.
Rose’s sweet tone captivated fans around the world, and more than 230,000 viewers watched Rose’s performance, even though it was a surprise performance. Jisoo and Lisa also added warmth by commenting with fans while watching Rose’s performance.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK announced their comeback in June and is preparing for a new album. The group is also expected to catch the ear with music fans with “Sour Candy,” the collaboration song with Lady Gaga on May 29.
