Singer and actor Lee Hye Young will provide support in Red Velvet‘s first unit group.
According to Star News, Lee Hye Young will participate in Red Velvet’s Seulgi and Irene‘s unit group as a visual director.
As a fashionista representing the entertainment industry, Lee Hye Young has been recognized for her extraordinary sense, not only in her entertainment activities but also in her work as a fashion businessman. Her clothing brand, which she launched more than a decade ago, drew attention by earning 40 billion KRW (approx. 32,436,225 USD) in the first year.
It is not the first time for her to be in charge of the girl group’s styles/clothes. In the past, she led the trend by styling popular girl groups such as Diva and Chakra.
Red Velvet is to produce its first unit group of Seulgi and Irene in six years since their debut in August 2014. Attention is focusing on what synergy the two will create.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that the two have recently finished shooting their music video and are preparing for the album’s official release in June.
