K-POP group NU’EST stated that they have suffered enough and will take legal actions against some crazy fans, who had been invading their privacy.

The group’s agency, Pledis Entertainment, wrote an official statement on May 13.

“Hello, this is Pledis Entertainment. Thank you so much for your love and interest in our artist, NU’EST.

However, we are informing you that there have been several recent incidents in which the artists have received over-the-line interests.

Despite the previous notice of “NU’EST” fan club order and privacy, the members are suffering from severe psychological distress as some fans continue to visit the company, practice rooms, recording rooms, fitness centers, etc. to wait for the members and follow their vehicles to their house.

Immediately after the end of the schedule on Tuesday, May 12, there were incidents, including chasing by car or sneaking into the hallway of the apartment building and waiting. So we handed the case over to the local police immediately at the scene and took additional measures.

Including this incident, to those who cause such cases again, we will not only limit NU’EST-related fan club activities permanently, we will also respond strongly to all cases that have and will occur. We will collect evidence such as security cameras and monitoring, and file a complaint with the local police station. Also, we will prioritize the artists’ safety and personal rights and plan to ask for severe punishment for all matters that hinder it.

We ask for your cooperation to ensure the healthy and stable activities of the artists, and we will continue to manage and do our best to protect the artists. Thank you. “

Recently, NU’EST released its eighth mini-album, The Nocturne, on May 11.
