Actor Kim Min Kyo‘s dogs attacked an 80-year-old woman in the neighborhood and seriously injured her. At the time of the accident, the dogs were known to have jumped the fence without leashes and muzzles, sparking a stir.
On May 9, a report came out that, according to the Gwangju Fire Station in Gyeonggi Province, a woman in her 80s working in a garden was attacked by two dogs at around 5:20 p.m. on May 4 KST. The report also added that the two dogs were both well over 45 lbs, and the victim was attacked while picking the herbs.
She was taken to a hospital right away after being severely bitten, including thighs and arms. The victim, who had been hospitalized in ICU due to deteriorating condition, got better and was moved to the general ward recently.
Residents of the neighborhood who witnessed the accident said that both large dogs jumped the fence without leashes and muzzles.
In particular, the dogs were said to have been raised by actor Kim Min Kyo. The actor and his dogs grabbed attention before by appearing on Channel A’s A Man Who Feeds the Dog Season2. Regrading the case, the actor is yet to express his position and set his account to private, further raising the controversy.
