DAY6 (Sungjin, Jae, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon) unveiled the music video teaser for its new song “Zombie” for the first time.
DAY6 previously announced that they would make a comeback on May 11 with their new album The Book of Us: The Demon and the title track “Zombie.”
At midnight on May 9 KST, JYP Entertainment released a music video teaser of “Zombie” on its official SBS channel,s raising expectations to the highest level.
The teaser features part of the title track, the main character walking through the city like a zombie, and DAY6’s ensemble scene.
The main character of the music video stumbles through the busy city. And as soon as he returned to his room, he flops on his bed, giving off a lonesome atmosphere. Even with the 40-seconds-teaser, the viewers can fully understand why the title of the song is “Zombie.”
The music video is expected to effectively convey the message of the new song through various productions such as sensuous background, lighting, and equipment.
“Zombie” was written by DAY6’s Young K and Wonpil, while Jae took part in composing. It talks about “me,” who lives like a zombie, with the theme of despair caused by slanted emotions.
DAY6’s sixth mini-album The Book of Us: The Demon will be released at 6:00 p.m. on May 11 KST.
