“I-LAND” is the first project of BELIFT+, a joint venture established by CJ ENM and Big Hit Entertainment in March last year. The two companies joined hands to establish BELIFT+ to discover and foster global K-POP artists, and made headlines as it brought together two entities that have great influence in the music industry.

“I-LAND” will be an observation reality show that will portray the process of creating the next generation of K-pop artists. It is expected to be a show with a whole new concept combining CJ ENM’s content production capabilities and Big Hit Entertainment’s artist-producing know-how.

The show aims to present various forms of collaboration and competition among the cast. To that end, Mnet has put much work into the preparation process, including the creation of a 3000 pyeong (approximately 106,750 square feet) complex.

“I-LAND” will premiere in June through Mnet.
