2PM‘s Ok Taec Yeon joined the new film Hansan (working title).
According to a source, Ok Taec Yeon recently confirmed his appearance in Hansan.
Hansan is a film about the Battle of Hansan Island, a naval battle between the Japanese and Korean fleets that took place near Hansan Island on July 8, 1592. Ok Taec Yeon will take on the role of Lim Joon Young, a member of the Joseon naval force, who works hard to save the country.
After being discharged from the military, Ok Taec Yeon once again proved his acting prowess by leasing the recently-ended MBC drama The Game: Towards Zero. The fact that he will challenge his first historical film role is raising the expectation to the fullest.
Hansan is directed by Kim Han Min, best known for Roaring Currents, which was released in 2014 and attracted a total of 17 million viewers. It is also the second project of Admiral Yi Sun Shin’s trilogy, which began with Roaring Currents.
Along with Ok Taec Yeon, Park Hae Il, Byun Yo Han, and Kim Sung Kyu announced their appearance.
