A music video teaser for IU‘s new song “eight” has been released.
IU’s agency, EDAM Entertainment, released a teaser video for the music video of the singer’s new song “eight” on May 5.
The fact that IU and BTS‘s Suga collaborated on the upcoming song drew attention from the music industry and music fans from all around the world.
In the unveiled teaser, the new song “eight” plays a band-based sound that features a harmony of analog sensibility and trendy music. The part of the song with the lyrics of ‘So are you happy now “certainly catches the ear.
The teaser video shows a cold-colored light is shown, and IU slowly walks into the place that resembles the SF movie, drawing attention. As the frozen reel tape starts to rotate again, IU is seen lying on a table helplessly, creating a unique and mysterious atmosphere.
At the end of the video, the mysterious phrase “Do you want to save all your memories?” further amplifies curiosity about the new song.
IU’s new song “eight” will be released at 6:00 p.m. on May 6 KST.
