BTS Suga shared that he has been listening to IU’s “Eight” often.

On May 2nd, Suga hosted a live stream on BTS’s official V Live channel and shared what it was like to collaborate with IU.

RM also joined the live stream and shared, “I listened to it. It’s really good. It’s the perfect song for a drive. As soon as I heard it, I thought it was a song for a drive even though I don’t even have a license. I think many will listen to it for a long time.”

Suga also shared, “It’s good. The work went smoothly. There weren’t that many back and forths. I sent the beats, and then I received a melody. I’m working on it and I’m listening to it often.”

Suga added, “Usually when the song leaves my hands, I don’t really listen to it once it gets released. When I listen, I only hear things that I could’ve done better on. Once it leaves my hands, I think the song belongs to the listeners.”

Suga joined as a producer for IU’s new song “Eight” which will be released on May 6th. Many are looking forward to listening to the two artists’ collaboration.
