The popularity of JTBC’s The World of the Married seems to be hot in Indonesia as well. After all, there was a happening in which some fans of the drama from Indonesia poured out “hate comments” on actor Han So Hee, who plays the role of Yeo Da Kyung.
Han So Hee often communicates with her fans through her Instagram. The average number of comments on her post is about 5,000. However, in the recent posts, the number rose up to about 80,000.
This is due to the influence of her role in the drama. Han So Hee is currently playing the role of Yeo Da Kyung, who married Lee Tae Oh (played by Park Hae Joon) after having an affair with him while he was still married to Ji Sun Woo (played by Kim Hee Ae).

Some Indonesian fans who got to know Han So Hee through The World of the Married left malicious comments on the actor’s Instagram account. After getting too immersed in the drama, they left comments like, “Are you happy after stealing Ji Sun Woo’s husband?”
Since then, other global fans, including fans from Indonesia, came to her Instagram to cheer and support the actor. They left comments like “I want to apologize for some people’s rude behavior” and “your acting is amazing” in Korean, English and Indonesian.
In the end, after getting bombarded with malicious comments, Han So Hee’s posts flooded once again with praises and cheering comments.
JTBC’s The World of the Married, starring Han So Hee, airs every Friday and Saturday at 10:50 p.m. KST.
