Singer Minzy shed tears during her first live streaming in about three years.
On April 30, Minzy wrote on her Instagram, “Thanks for watching my youtube live streaming. it was really amazing and overwhelming!! Thank you to all the fans who waited. I’ll see you on May with my new single. I put my heart into the song. Hope you guys like my present. Love you!”

During the live streaming held on April 29, she shared her recent life such as attending her sister’s wedding, visiting Sandara Park‘s musical and she also expressed her excitement over finally returning to her fans’ side.
However, as she thanked her fans for waiting, she shed tears, saying that the messages of congratulations and support she’s received have given her a lot of strength. She later revealed that she will be releasing a new song, drawing attention.
Minzy made a debut in 2009 as a member of 2NE1, and upon the disbandment, she moved to The Music Works to start her solo career. However, she failed to engage in solo activities and submitted injunction against her agency to suspend her exclusive contract last September. Then in October of the same year, she also filed a civil suit against The Music Works.
Earlier this month, Minzy announced her departure from The Music Works after coming to an agreement with the company.
