Lee Je Hoon expressed his satisfaction with his new film Time to Hunt being released through Netflix.

Initially, Time to Hunt was scheduled to premiere in February, but it was postponed indefinitely due to coronavirus pandemic. Later, it changed its route to Netflix and was finally released on April 23.

Lee Je Hoon said, “The movie should have been released at the end of February, but was forced to put on hold due to COVID-19 pandemic. Rather, people around me showed more concerns. I think I watched the situation calmly and resolutely on the contrary.”

“The film was finally released on Netflix after many struggles, and I liked it even more. I really like Netflix. I even wonder what my life would be like without Netflix. Also, the advantage of Netflix is that the works are released all around the world for people to watch. In the past, I mostly listened to the comments of people from Korea, but now it’s amazing and fun to see the reactions of overseas fans,” he added.

He also cited some of his favorite and memorable overseas responses: “It was terrifying and creepy,” “There’s a movie like this in Korea, too,” “I like the fact that it draws dystopia in the near future.”

Regarding Ahn Jae Hong, Lee Je Hoon said, “When I first saw Ahn Jae Hong, I was like, ‘Who is this person? He’s so cool. I’d love to work with him someday.’ It was amazing to work with him on this work. He was everything more than I expected. I would love to work with him again.”

As for Choi Woo Shik, he said, “I really wanted to meet him after watching ‘Set Me Free,’ but I never expected to work with him this soon. He is a close friend in the film but in real life, he is a cute younger brother. He is an actor and a friend who I would like to bring everywhere with me.”

He also mentioned the humane charm of Park Hae Soo. “I felt this incredible energy from him. I knew that if it wasn’t him, there would be no alternative. So I was nervous to see him for the first time, but he was the most innocent and kind person I’ve ever seen. His real personality is the exact opposite of Han,” he said.

Lee Je Hoon also talked about his role. He said that he doesn’t quite agree with the decision to join such a risky plan, but understood that “he had no other choice.” “I empathized, thinking that if I did this, I could go to the world I dreamed of,” he added.

Lee Je Hoon will once again meet his fans through Netflix, besides Time to Hunt. He is currently filming for Move to Heaven, new Netflix original series about a young man with Asperger’s syndrome who now runs a company that cleans the personal belonging of the deceased and his guardian.
