On April 28th, Big Hit Entertainment posted an official announcement regarding BTS’s MAP OF THE SOUL TOUR.
The agency stated, “We have decided to readjust the entire schedule for BTS’s world tour, MAP OF THE SOUL TOUR. The tour involves staff members across the globe, and it has to be supported by global distribution system. There are countries, regions, and cities including Korea where situations have improved, but it is not easy to start the tour based on that.”
The continued to state, “The decision to readjust the tour schedule was made after thinking about what is best for the fans’ health and safety. We have prepared for a long time to show the best performances, so we will give it our best to make up for the long wait. We may need a long time depending on COVID-19 situation, but we will work hard so that BTS and their fans can meet as soon as possible. And the time the artists take off due to the COVID-19 will be filled by new methods according to the new normal.”
