Kim Dong Jun and Kim Jae Kyung will star in the new movie Simple Station (literal translation).
The movie Simple Station is a unique and heartwarming emotional melodrama of Sung Hyun, who slowly loses his memory, and Jia, a terminally ill patient who wants to be remembered by him forever.
Kim Dong Jun, who has been active in dramas and entertainment shows, plays the role of Sung Hyun. Despite suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, he will present his pure and unwavering love for a woman. Kim Dong Jun, who recently led positive reviews with the JTBC’s Chief of Staff series, will show more delicate and in-depth performances through Simple Station.
Kim Jae Kyung, who has established herself as an actor, plays Jia, a woman who wants to be remembered by her loved one until the end. Jia is the kind of person who can smile in front of her loved one despite her terminal illness. In particular, Kim Jae Kyung, who marked the 10th anniversary of her debut last year, is expected to star in a movie as a lead role for the first time.
Yoon Yoo Sun has also confirmed her role as Kyung Sook, a mother of Jia. Actors Heo Jung Min and Jin Ye Sol also joined the movie, raising the expectations.
Simple Station has finished its table read on April 14 and is currently preparing for the filming.
