K-POP group NU’EST released their first group teaser for their new music.
At midnight on April 25, Pledis Entertainment, NU’EST’s agency, unveiled a group trailer video for The Nocturne, the group’s eighth mini-album. The mystical atmosphere of the video raises the expectations for NU’EST’s new music.
The trailer video is said to serve as an introduction to The Nocturne, which features a night that NU’EST will present in a deeper atmosphere, drawing keen attention to the story and narration of the video.
As Baekho‘s narration catch the ear, a playful child appears in the video, drawing curiosity. Then images of NU’EST as a whole and the images from personal trailers intersect, raising the level of immersion and heightening the dramatic atmosphere.
In addition, the theme of night has been repeatedly presented not only in individuals but also in group trailer, raising questions about its meaning. With the narration, “We imagine and sing in another night of our own,” the video ends, raising expectations for the new music NU’EST will deliver through The Nocturne.
NU’EST’s eight mini-album The Nocturne will be released at 6:00 p.m. on May 11 KST.
