Lee Ro Eun’s mother posted a lengthy message on her Instagram on April 18.

She wrote, “Yesterday, Ronnie’s dad and I were excited to see our daughter. As soon as Ronnie appeared, there was a controversy over her size. Where on earth did the word ‘first birthday’ come from? It’s two years later in the drama. Yes, I know she’s big. She came out even taller.

I felt terrible seeing my daughter get teased in Mom cafe, SBS, and NAVER Talk. If they just wrote about being tall or big, I wouldn’t write this. I’m sure they didn’t mean to offend us, but it’s still hurtful. What did my baby do wrong? She just filmed without knowing anything.

Please refrain from harsh words and delete them. It’s not easy for kids around Ronnie’s age to stay clam without crying when dozens of staff members surround them as they film the same scene for 4 to 5 times. Please support us so that we can finish the rest of the filming safely. Thank you for those who supported Ronnie.”

Earlier, Lee Ro Eun received a lot of attention when she appeared as Jenny, the daughter of Yeo Da Kyung (Han So Hee) and Lee Tae Oh (Park Hae Joon). However, as the controversy over the child actor being too big for a 2-years-old baby was surfaced, the mother of Lee Ro Eun wrote the message to protect her child. Currently, the post has been deleted.
