Actress Jun Ji Hyun was recently under fire for reducing the rent for only some of her tenants.
Jun Ji Hyun had joined others in reducing rents for tenants to give financial relief during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, it was reported that she had only reduced rent for tenants in three out of her six properties.
Her agency quickly corrected the misunderstanding and stated, “After the spread of COVID-19, she reduced the rent for those in need for additional months in contrary to what was reported. However, she found out that her building manager had made a mistake and immediately reduced the rent for tenants who were not included. She hopes that this will help people overcome the difficult time.”
Meanwhile, Jun Ji Hyun has donated about $82,168 to Hope Bridge to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
