TWICE will be the first Korean girl group to showcase a documentary through YouTube Original Series.
JYP Entertainment, the group’s agency, announced on April 14 that they will unveil the first episode of TWICE: Seize the Light, YouTube original series, in 81 regions on April 29.
Previously, K-POP boy groups such as TVXQ, Super Junior and BTS have appeared in the YouTube original series, but TWICE is the first girl group to do so.
Consisting of eight episodes in total, TWICE: Seize the Light is real documentary about TWICE’s beginning, present and future.
The series also contains the members’ trainee years, their growth as TWICE, their challenges for a new stage and their honest thoughts.
A new episode will be released every Wednesday at 11:00 p.m. KST and YouTube premium subscribers can watch all eight episode on April 29, when the first episode is released.
TWICE will hold a question-and-answer time with their fans at 2:00 p.m. on April 28 KST, marking the release of TWICE: Seize the Light. Under the title âPremiere Live Streaming,â the event will be broadcast live online on TWICE’s official YouTube channel.
