Actor Kim Min Jae has chosen the upcoming drama Do You Like Brahms? (literal translation) as his next work.
On April 13, Yam Yam Entertainment, Kim Min Jae’s agency, announced that the actor has confirmed his appearance as the main lead in SBS’s new Monday-Tuesday drama Do You Like Brahms?.
Do You Like Brahms? is a drama about dreams and love of classical music students who wander from the boundary between talent and reality to find their own happiness.
Kim Min Jae will play the role of Park Joon Young, a pianist. He is the only son of a couple, who runs a restaurant for drivers and knows nothing about classical music, and a prodigy in playing the piano. Since accidentally encountering the piano when he was six years old, he has won several international piano competitions after dominating Korea’s leading music competitions early on.
As the actor showed solid acting prowess through various dramas and movies, the viewers are already paying keen attention to his transformation into a classical musician. According to his agency, he is already playing the piano day and night for his role.
Previously, actor Park Eun Bin has confirmed her role as Chae Song Ah, the female lead character.
Meanwhile, Do You Like Brahms? is scheduled to air later this year.
