‘The World of the Married’ Records 21% Viewer Ratings + Becomes the Drama with the Second Best Viewership in JTBC’s History

JTBC’s Friday-Saturday drama, The World of the Married, opened a new chapter as Kim Hee Ae changed the scene at all cost. As a result, viewer ratings also surpassed 21%, drawing explosive responses from the viewers.

According to Nielson Korea, a ratings survey agency, the sixth episode of The World of the Married, which aired on April 11, recorded the viewer ratings of 18.8% nationwide and 21.4% in Seoul metropolitan area. By recording 21.4% in only episode 6, The World of the Married already became the drama with the second best viewership recorded in the history of JTBC drama, following SKY Castle.

This is much higher than that recorded in the fifth episode, which was 14.676%. With the dramatic development, the drama is breaking its own highest record in every episode.

In the recent episode, Ji Sun Woo (Kim Hee Ae) succeeded in protecting his son Lee Joon Young (Jeon Jin Seo) and cutting off all ties with Lee Tae Oh (Park Hae Joon) from her world. Kim Hee Ae’s fierce revenge, even as she risked her own life against misfortune, was perfect. However, Lee Tae Oh once again broke her peaceful life by returning with his new family, heralding another catastrophe.
