On April 10th, netizens discovered that VIXX’s Hongbin had deleted his Instagram and Twitter account.

After confirming that he had deleted his accounts on the two platforms, his fans commented, “We support you no matter what you do” and “Know that we love you very much.”

The news didn’t come as a surprise since the idol had received heavy criticism for making belittling comments about his fellow idols including Infinite, Red Velvet, and SHINee on his Twitch live stream in March.

Following the controversial live stream, his group mates Ravi and Leo wrote an apology to their fans, and their agency Jelly Fish Entertainment issued an official apology regarding Hongbin’s comments.

Although Hongbin had also posted sincere apology on his Instagram, many were surprised to find that he had deleted his apology post and had reactivated his Twitch account.

Currently, Hongbin’s Youtube channel and Twitch account still remain active.
