In the recent episode of JTBC’s The World of the Married, Kim Hee Ae exposed the affair between Park Hae Joon and Han So Hee.
According to Nielsen Korea, a ratings agency, the fifth episode of The World of the Married, which aired on March 10, recorded 14.7% viewer ratings nationwide and 16.1% in metropolitan area, and maintained its record of breaking the highest viewership in every episode.
In the fifth episode, on the table where Lee Tae Oh (Park Hae Joon), Yeo Da Kyung (Han So Hee), Yeo Byung Jae (Lee Kyung Young) and Uhm Hyo Jung (Kim Sun Kyung) are sitting together, Ji Sun Woo (Kim Hee Ae) exposed the fact that Lee Tae Oh and Yeo Da Kyung is having an affair and that she is even pregnant with his child. With this, everything Lee Tae Oh worked for has collapsed, and Yeo Da Jung faced a chaos as her secret was exposed to her parents.
Then, Lee Tae Oh shocked Ji Sun Woo and the viewers by stating a pure sophistry that he never intended to fail his family and that falling in love with two people is not a sin. Ji Sun woo, appalled at his statement, demanded a divorce and even told him about her one night stand with his friend, Son He Hyuk (Kim Young Min).
For Ji Sun Woo, who is trying her best not to destroy the world that she is living in, brutal revenge was not an option but a must. Kim Hee Ae’s explosive performances, which controls the tempo of the whirling emotions in the drama, also peaked in this episode, drawing positive reviews.
