Former MONSTA X member Wonho announced that he will be returning as a solo artist and producer with Highline Entertainment.
Wonho was recently involved in a scandal where his friend exposed his personal life and revealed that he owed her thousands of dollars. Not long after, he was also investigated for illegal smoking of marijuana. This lead him to leave his group MONSTA X and terminate his contract with Starship Entertainment.
In March, Wonho was cleared of all charges regarding marijuana smoking and he admitted his errors and published an apology to the public.
And on April 10th, Wonho wrote on his fan site, “I’m sure you were very hurt because of me. I know that I can’t take back what I did.” He continued, “All I can say is that I will work hard so that you won’t have a hard time anymore and so that I can fill your hearts with good things one day.” He also comforted the fans by saying, “You can take a break if it’s hard. You don’t have to go through the pain for me.”
He closed his letter to the fans with, “Thank you for giving me the chance to become a better person. I will continue to live with a grateful heart. Thank you for letting me keep that promise.”
