K-POP sensation (G)I-DLE established partnership with Republic Records to challenge the pop scene in earnest.
The group released their third mini-album, I TRUST, in the US with Republic records, marking their official US debut.
“We are excited to be teaming up with the multi-talented girl group, (G)I-DLE as they make their highly anticipated debut into the U.S. marketplace. The new mini album, I Trust, launches the group stateside as we endeavor to accelerate their trajectory towards global stardom,” states President, COO and Co-founder of Republic Records, Avery Lipman.
He also stressed that the album topped iTunes album charts in 39 regions right after its release. “In particular, it topped the iTunes pop album chart and K-POP album chart in the US and ranked No.3 on the overall album chart. The title song ”Oh My God“ topped the iTunes K-POP song chart and its music video has already surpassed 30 million views,” he added.
The year 2020 remains poised to be (G)I-DLE’s biggest and boldest year yet, as they expand their reach into North America and once again prove their international influence and might.
