The production of Cloud 47 (working title), a french drama directed by Kim Jee Woon, starring Lee Ha Nee, has been postponed indefinitely.
According to a source, the production of Cloud 47 has been delayed indefinitely. Cloud 47 is a four-part drama produced by Canal Plus in France. The work is based on the true story of a Taiwanese weapons lobbyist who shook the French political world. As director Kim Jee Woon was put in charge, the Taiwanese lobbyist was replaced with a Korean lobbyist.
Actor Lee Ha Nee was chosen to play the main character, and the filming was originally scheduled to begin in Korea last December then in France during February and March.
Director Kim Jee Woon has been consulting with the French production team continuously. But it has been rumored that the production was postponed due to setbacks in various preparation processes. Then, with the recent outbreak of coronavirus, the entire production was postponed until 2021. Director Kim Jee Woon reportedly disbanded the Korean staff gathered for Cloud 47, and delivered the news to Lee Ha Nee.
Meanwhile, Lee Ha Nee is in talks of starring in director Lee Won Seok’s new film, Killing Romance (literal translation).
