EXID’s Hani, also know as Ahn Hee Yeon, recently confirmed her role as the main character of White Crow (literal translation) of SF8.
The crossover project “SF8,” produced by Soo Films in collaborations with MBC, Korean Film Directors’ Association (DGK) and Wavve, is an omnibus series directed by eight film directors into 8 40-minutes-long-episodes. It will tell the story of a near future where people dream of perfect world with technological developments.
Among these eight episodes, White Crow, starring Hani, tells the story of BJ Juno, who appears on a live VR game show, getting trapped in a virtual reality world. Hani plays the popular BJ Juno, who specializes in horror games despite her fragile and innocent images.
The original version of “SF8,” which will be produced with various materials including artificial intelligence (AI), augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), robot, game, fantasy, horror, superpowers, disaster, etc., will be released in July on Wavve. Then two episodes will air back to back for four weeks on MBC in August.
