BTS Jimin‘s ‘Filter‘ has been continuously setting numerous records across various music platforms. It even achieved 30 million streams on the world’s largest music-streaming platform, Spotify, in just 37 days setting yet another record.
‘Filter’ gathered 2,217,097 streams on its first day and charted 33rd on Spotify Global Top 200. It has become the biggest, most streamed, and highest-charting first day debut and the highest-charting ever for a Korean solo song on the platform, and the 12th highest ever position for a BTS song. It also became the longest-charting BTS solo song globally, by charting for 14 days straight.
The song also charted in 54 different countries and regions, which has helped it become the Korean solo song that has charted in the most number of territories, and also debuted on the charts of the biggest music markets. The song currently holds 4th place position for Popular Songs on BTS’s Spotify profile.
Simply put, the recent achievement is just another to add to the list of ‘fastest to hit milestone’ records, which includes:
- Fastest Korean solo to surpass 10 million streams – 6 days
- Fastest Korean solo song by a male artist and fastest non-title and non-single released solo song to surpass 20 million streams – 18 days
