Park Ji Yeon Confirms Her Appearance in SBS’s ‘The King: Eternal Monarch’

Actor Park Ji Yeon will appear in the upcoming drama, The King: Eternal Monarch.

The King: Eternal Monarch is a fantasy romance about the two parallel universes of a monarchy and a democracy. Lee Gon, the Emperor of the Korean Empire, tries to close the gate between the two worlds, and detective Jung Tae Eul joins forces with him to protect the people.

Park Ji Yeon will play the role of Park Ji Young, granddaughter of the founder of a major pharmaceutical company in the drama and daughter-in-law of the renowned family. Park Ji Young will catch the eyes of the viewers as she presents jealousy towards Prime Minister of Korean Empire Goo Seo Ryung (Jung Eun Chae) and appear as an expectant mother, showing off a strong personality.

The actor, who debuted in 2010 with the musical Mamma Mia!, recently won the hearts of the public with her delicate emotional acting and beautiful voice, playing the role of “I” in the musical Rebecca. In addition, she also appeared in JTBC’s Life and SBS’s Haechi, grabbing the attention with her stable performances.

Meanwhile,  The King: Eternal Monarch,  starring  Lee Min Ho,  Kim Go Eun,  Woo Do Hwan,  Lee Jung Jin  and  Jung Eun Chae, is set to premiere in April as a follow-up of  Hyena.
