Kang Daniel‘s first mini album CYAN, released on March 24, has dominated iTunes charts in Korea as well as overseas.
As of March 24, the same day the album was released, the album ranked first on All Album Chart in nine regions, including Malaysia, Vietnam, Taiwan, the Philippines, Singapore, Hong Kong, Turkey, Thailand and Indonesia, fifth in Japan and seventh in Russia.
In addition, it also ranked No.1 on the K-POP Album Chart in 12 regions, including Malaysia, Vietnam, Taiwan, the Philippines, Singapore, Hong Kong, Turkey, Thailand, Canada, Japan, Australia and Indonesia. Also, CYAN is ranked second in the US, following BTS, sixth in Spain, seventh in the United Arab Emirates, ninth in Saudi Arabia and 18th in New Zealand, proving his status as one of the top idols in the K-POP scene.
Although this album is meaningful in that this is his comeback after a break, but even more meaningful in a sense that this album opens the “COLOR” series, in which the singer will take a journey to find his own color.
Meanwhile, Kang Daniel will engages in a full promotional activities, starting with M Countdown on March 26.
