Im Siwan is expected to star in JTBC‘s new series Run On (working title).
On March 26, Im’s agency PLUM A&C stated that the actor had been positively considering his appearance in Run On after getting a proposal from the production team of the drama. “Nothing including its broadcasting schedules has been decided yet,” the company said.
Run On is a story about a man, a former member of the national sprint team, who becomes a sports agent. It will be the debut project of scriptwriter Park Min Sook, who worked as an assistant writer to scriptwriter Kim Eun Sook. Im Siwan is said to have got proposed to play the main character, Ki Sun Kyum, who changes from a sprinter to a sports agent.
Im Siwan enthusiastically performed the lead role of Yoon Jong Woo in OCN‘s original drama Hell Is Other People, which ended last October. A huge attention is being paid to whether Im Siwan, who’s enjoying a break since the end of Hell Is Other People, will return to the small screen through Run On.
