The performance video of Lim’s “The Story of a Couple in Their 60s” for TV Chosun’s Mr. Trot recorded 10.28 million views on YouTube as of March 21.
Beside, YouTube, the video uploaded to the official accounts of TV Chosun and Mr. Trot also recored 1.35 million and 3.95 million views.
A source said, “Since Lim Young Woong chose ‘The Story of a Couple in Their 60s’ as his best performance, it continues to be viewed as a stage that is loved by the public regardless of gender and age.”
Lim and Mr. Trot are said to have led to the popularization of trot, which was considered as an exclusive possession of middle-aged people.
