Actor Ahn So Hyun dropped out of School 2020. Will Kim Sae Ron join to take her place?
On March 20, an official from actor Kim’s agency role Newsen that the actor has recently received the script for the drama and is considering the offer. The offer is for role the role of female lead Na Geum Young, a girl who dreams of becoming a successful YouTuber.
However, the nominee for the female lead character in School 2020 was Ahn Seo Hyun. Earlier, she confirmed the role and finished the table read. She even posted friendly photo with fellow actor Kim Yo Han and director Han Sang Woo.
Yet, a few days ago, she wrote on her Instagram “This will pass too,” suggesting a problem, an eventually, she reported that she dropped out of the drama. Regarding this event, an official from School 2020 said, “We didn’t sign the official contract with the actor, and this kind of things happen during the casting process.”

Meanwhile, School 2020 is the eighth drama in the “School” series. Kim Yo Han has already confirmed to play the role of Kim Tae Jin, a former taekwondo athlete who quits and transfers to a vocational high school. Although he speaks and acts like a grownup, he is an innocent high schooler who does not know what to do when it comes to his crush.
