On March 19, the actor’s agency AM Entertainment stated that Kim contributed his pay for narrating Humanimal to KCLF (Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation) on the 18th. “He decide to donate it after hearing the news of children with pediatric cancers who’ve had trouble in securing masks since the COVID-19 (the new Coronavirus) outbreak. They especially need the preventive masks because their immune systems have weakened due to anticancer treatments,” the company added.

KCLF will use all of Kim Woo Bin’s donations to urgently purchase and provide masks to the childhood cancer patients and their families across the country. Meanwhile, the relationship between the foundation and Kim Woo Bin dates back to 2017. On July 16, 2017, Kim’s fan clubs donated their funds to the charity to be used as medical expenses for children with acute myeloid leukemia. It was a kind of celebration for his 29th birthday.
