Lil Uzi Vert himself has explained the suspicions that the album cover of his recent album That Way is similar to the work of Korean illustrator TaeTae.
To the accusation of plagiarism, Lil Uzi Vert replied, “I’m not a mean person or a thief” and that he will have his team “to contact you and five you Money.” He also added that just because he’s famous he’s going to “ignore the problem or shove money.”
Previously on March 13, TaeTae posted on his Instagram that he was very upset to see the recent album work of the artist, which literally looks like a copy of his work that he posted on his blog six years ago. He also posted his work and the album cover side to side.

Both pictures show a light piercing a person and come out in the shape of heart. Even though the colors might be different, overall tone and structures look similar.
