Singer Jang Hyunseung, a former member of K-POP group BEAST, and actor Kim Bum were discharged after serving the army for two years.
On March 13, Jang posted a photo of himself in a uniform and left a message that said, “2018.07.24.-2020.03.13. Thank You!”
Jang started his military service on July 24, 2018 and was discharged on March 18, 2020. He announced his discharge by posting a “proof shot” on himself.

On the same day, actor Kim Bum was also discharged from the military after completing his mandatory military service as a public service worker. Kim entered the boot camp on April 26, 2018 and wet through basic military training for four weeks before serving as a public service worker for two years.
Kim is scheduled to resume his acting career immediately after being discharged. He is currently in talk of appearing in tvN’s new drama, The Story of Gumiho (literal translation). If he confirms his role, it will be his return to the small screen in four years since his appearance in Mrs. Cop 2 (2016).
The Story of Gumiho is a “Ghost Hunting” drama that involves a nine-tailed fox, who settled in the city, and a producer, who chases him. Lee Dong Wook and Jo Bo Ah already confirmed their appearances.
