Kim Woo Bin, who has focused on getting recovery from his cancer for years, is resuming his acting career very soon.

On March 11, a source from Kim’s agency AM Entertainment told YTN Star that the actor would start shooting Extraterrestrial (working title), director Choi Dong Hoon‘s long-waited new film, late this month. “The filming schedule is still changeable,” the source added.

It’s the first time for Kim Woo Bin to participate in filming a work in four years since KBS‘s melodrama Uncontrollably Fond (2016) and the 2016 movie Master. He recently made a good influence on society by donating KRW 100 million (approximately USD 83,787) to the Seoul branch of Community Chest of Korea (also known as The Fruit of Love) to prevent further spread of COVID-19 (the new Coronavirus).

Meanwhile, Extraterrestrial is a sci-fi crime drama about the aliens living in the Republic of Korea, starring many veteran actors including Kim Woo Bin, Ryun Jun Yeol, Kim Tae Ri, Lee Hanee, Jo Woo Jin, Kim Eui Sung, So Ji Sub and Yeom Jeong Ah. The movie is set to be produced in two parts like the Along with the Gods series.
