Seungri joined the boot camp of the 6th Infantry Division in Cheorwon County, Gangwon Province, on afternoon of March 9. He will finish the five-weeks basic military training and serve in active duty after getting deployed to his assigned troops.

Seungri appeared at 1:30 p.m. KST after finishing fever test and enlistment process in his car as a precaution for COVID-19. Then, he stepped out of the car, stood at the photo line and bowed to reporters before heading to the training camp.

He appeared in a military-haircut and a black mask. Soon, he was bombarded with questions from the reporters asking about the allegations related to Burning Sun Gate or how he feels about the enlistment. But he quickly moved on without saying a word.

The scene of his enlistment was quiet, perhaps due to the aftermath of COVID-19. An official of the Army previously stated that there will be no restrictions. Although there were numerous reporters to capture Seungri’s enlistment site, there weren’t any fans present at the scene to send him off.
