On March 3, Netflix released total 11 character posters for the upcoming season 2 of its hit original series Kingdom.
Just like season 1, Kingdom season 2 (shortened to Kingdom 2 below) is a mystery thriller about Lee Chang, Crown Prince of Joseon dynasty, and his bloody fight against both the zombies and a family of power who covets the throne of Joseon. Decorated with a lot of blood and crows, these new posters are implying the strengthened wills and desires of the 10 main characters in Kingdom 2, starring the splendid cast including Joo Ji Hoon, Ryu Seung Ryong, Bae Doona, Kim Sang Ho, Kim Sung Kyu, Jeon Seok Ho, Park Byung Eun, Kim Hye Joon, Kim Tae Hoon and Heo Joon Ho.
The most remarkable one of the character posters is a version of “saengsayeok,” a fictional name of zombies in Joseon. It shows off a violent visual of saengsayeoks, the hidden lead roles that frighten all main characters in Kingdom series, making the audience expect much more on thrill and suspense caused by Kingdom 2.
